As a faithful Amarr I believe that:
There is ultimately one absolute divinity that we seek. This divinity is revealed in all that is good, beautiful and true, it is universal and bonds everyone of us together, even if we all walk our own paths.
The absolute divine doesn't interact directly with the created world. Still, it moves everything in the world and the world as whole as the beloved moves the lover.
All man are not equal: Everyone has a unique path, but all the paths end at the divine, the beloved. All of us have our part to play, our place in that whole.
Freedom and liberty are not the same: Liberty is the right to choose without interference. Freedom is the result of the right choice.
We have the duty to guide, help and heal those that lack the ability to make their way, to be free. Thus, the powerful have an obligation the the weak, the rich to the poor and the slaver to the slave. All power is bestowed by the divine to achieve good, if someone abuses his power for personal gain, he loses this heavenly mandate and has to be brought to justice.

Cpt. Moreau,
The ability to walk away? What's if your legs are amputed? The ability to choose? Choose what? Can you choose to spread your wings and fly? _

Cpt. Kyriel,
as you might notice, what I said was indeed a 'strange argument' as it was no argument at all. As I was neither trying to justify nor to rebut Cpt. Moreau's claim about what freedom is with my questions.
Though I have to admit, I don't buy her definition, she conflates ability to choose and ability to act. And there are dozens of cases one could construct to show that her rather poetic attempt at an definition would render all of us unfree.

An Amarrian doctrine? Rather not. Certainly, power is is ultimately derived from the the blessings of our Lord, God. But that doesn't mean at all that it's following that 'might makes right'. Quite the contrary is true if we ask and ponder the question on why God bestows on his blessings on someone:
"But the people of Amarr lived righteously and in fear of God. Thus they were saved and became God's chosen." - The Scriptures, Book II 2:1
It is clear that God bestows his blessings on those that live righteously. Thus it follows that in fact 'Right makes might!', because God is with those that live righteous lives. _
